“Pick a Color”

This month we have the pleasure of using an idea from Marlene Butcher – all the way from the United Kingdom!  Marlene’s suggestion is to pick a color, just one color, and use up to 4 shades of that color to make one focal bead – OR make a set (3 to 7 = set). Clear glass is the only other that may be added. For example, if you choose blue – cobalt, sky, turquoise and periwinkle could be 4 different  shades of blue used, (and clear too if you like).

Marlene’s suggestion is meant to encourage all levels of expertise to participate and show their beads on our Facebook page in comments below this challenge. Any questions? Please ask them in comments on our Facebook page for this Challenge.

In the bead shown, I used two shades of blue, plus clear. It didn’t turn out exactly as I’d envisioned, but it’s still pretty. Please join in the fun and show us your results.
