Valentines to Chase Away the Winter Blues.

Swaps are open to members only – join here if you would like to be a member!

Are you ready for a little fun to liven up your winter blues? Have some fun with a Valentine Bead Swap! Each participant will make no more than 12 Valentine themed beads, no matter how many swappers we have. But don’t dawdle, cutoff for signing up is Jan 20, and mail by date is Jan 22 (so sign up and get started early!)

This event is designed for members to experience the fun of swapping and building relationships with fellow lampwork artists of all skill levels.

Swap rules

Sign-up on Dragon Swap #5 Valentine FB page as soon as you decide to participate but no later than January 20.
Make 12 valentines themed beads to swap.

I plan to include a little something special to help everyone build a Valentine Totem, so please keep each bead to no more than 1” hole to hole.

To simplify the shipping process, I will only use the small flat rate box for shipping. The US domestic rate is $8.30. If you are outside the US please contact me to figure out the cost.
Identify each bead with a label, card or whatever works for you so the recipient knows the artist.
Put your Name & Address inside the box with your beads along with a check, money order, or prepaid self-addressed label for $8.30.

If you live outside the US & wish to participate, let’s talk to determine the shipping fee.

Mail all beads to Janet Thurman no later than January 22, 2021, and Email or FB message me to be on the look-out. Find Janet’s address on the Facebook Swap 5 page, or in the Member’s Directory.
If your beads are not received by January 29, 2021, they may miss being included in the swap and instead, your beads will be returned to you.

When I received your beads, I will:

Post your name on the swap page.
Create packages and send them to each participating member.
Mail all bead by February 5.

Please take a photo of your beads prior to mailing them.
