“Frit Happens”

Yes, frit happens. Many of us purchased even MORE frit in 2020, probably a lot more! Now’s the time to show examples by using some of that frit and sharing the results.

The bead pictured above was made by rolling a thin elongated white base bead in “Lilac Rose Special” frit from Arrow Springs. It was then spiral wrapped using a purchased clear stringer. Using 104 transparent “Lavender Dk” to then encase the entire bead, resulted in a different finished look from the normally used clear encasement. The ends of the bead were made using 104 transparent “Violet Lt”. Can you tell my favorite color is purple?
