Pictured is a bead I made during a class at the ISGB in Texas. The class was taught by one of my favorite glass artists Nancy Tobey …. she was the main reason I signed on for my first ISGB event.
We all used borosilicate glass and scissors that day and I was totally hooked. You could be too – no matter what COE you use. If you have never cut hot glass, get a pair of sharp stainless steel scissors and give it a try. There are multiple designs that might take on quite a different and pleasing look if a little cut here and there were added.
We would all love to see your efforts. Please post your photos on our Members Facebook page beneath the post for Challenge #11 “Cutting Glass” or email them to communication@theglassdragons.com. Can’t wait to see them!!
