The purpose of this swap is to provide members an opportunity to experience the fun of swapping and building relationships with fellow artists. Swaps are open to members only – join here if you would like to be a member!
This challenge should help us stretch our skills as well as be lots of fun. We will make six different designs, and send in four of each design so that the swappers will receive many different beads. The variety (all using the same color palette) will make for a nice selection should the swappers decide to make some coordinated jewelry from the beads they receive too!
This swap is now closed.
Swap Details
Juliet Page is leading this swap inspired by Heather Trimlett’s challenges (see Heather’s beads above) – where we restrict our color palette and concentrate on design and repetition. Everyone uses the same glass colors, so that we end up with swap beads that coordinate.

What’s Next
- The swap coordinator will divvy up the items received and create packages to ship to each participating member. They will be mailed out on the agreed shipping date and in a timely manner.
- Keep in mind, the swap coordinator is a volunteer with their own life and is doing the best they can. Be kind.
Let the swap coordinator know when you have received your swap box. - When swap boxes are received by each participant, open them, admire and fondle them. Think about the work that went into making each piece and where that artist might be on their glass journey. Don’t give constructive criticism to anyone’s piece unless they specifically ask for it. And if they have, be as kind and informative as you can by suggesting solutions and not just problems.
