Big Hole Beads

The monthly challenge for September will be to make a big hole bead, or several please! Something for all skill levels. Hope you’ll contribute by sharing your examples and posting photos on our Members FB page under this challenge post. Here’s a link to help you out. Keep in mind random prize drawings are possible at any time for those who contribute to a challenge.

If you don’t have a mandrel that will make a larger hole for a bead, use the largest you have and dip your mandrel a few times in your bead release. That’s what I did for this dark ivory and copper green necklace piece. (Let your bead release dry between layers. The most layers I’ve ever done is three.)
