Ongoing Challenge #47
“Celtic Tree of Life -!”
by Tanya Layton
In early Irish literature, the four treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann, a mythological Irish race, there are four magical items which are described in the Legend of Four Jewels. These Celts are supposed to have brought those magical items with them from the four island cities: Murias, Falias, Gorias, and Findias, when they arrived in Ireland. They are represented as a cauldron, a stone, a spear and a sword. Also sacred to the Celts are trees, including Elder trees and Fairy trees Let’s discover these Celtic Treasures by celebrating the lore.
