Ongoing Challenge No. 49
“Articulation”
By Tanya Layton
Pull out those thinking caps. This month’s challenge is articulation. I am not talking about our vast and verbose language skills. I mean let’s get wiggly.
Create pieces where the components are connected in a way that allows them to move or articulate, like joints or hinges. The key to success is to break down the design into parts and use jump rings or cords to string the parts together.
In keeping with our theme, can you make a fish in segments that will look like it is really swimming? How about a little person with arms and legs that can move like a scuba diver? Can we make an octopus that can reach out and grab you?
Time to articulate. We can’t wait to see your ideas!
If you accept this challenge, please post photos of your creations under the Challenge #49 post on our Facebook Members only page, so we can add it to the gallery!
