Spotlight on Gaillee Mack

My inspiration comes from the endless possibilities of creativity and the joy of learning. Whether it’s the vibrant colors of a painting, the intricate details of a piece of jewelry, pottery or the delicate beauty of a floral arrangement, the ability to create something unique and meaningful is incredibly motivating.

Nature is a wonderful source of inspiration for me! The colors, textures, and patterns found in the natural world are truly mesmerizing.

I experimented with both oils and acrylics, eventually finding my true calling in acrylic paints. My dedication to mastering this medium led me to teach adult painting classes, where I shared various techniques of acrylic painting. My journey also included exploring pottery using a clay wheel, creating various bowls and other items. Along this path I baked and built wedding cakes, worked with stained glass, photography, silversmithing, floral design, and more. My artistic journey has been a fulfilling and a colorful adventure.

My artistic curiosity resulted in exploring various other mediums. I created intricate items with PMC clay and attended a two-day class with Cindy Jenkins, which sparked my love for lampworking. Using a hot head torch and glass rods, I delved into the world of glass art. The fun continues today with a Lynx, mini-CC, oxygen concentrator and a room full of glorious colored glass rods.

Throughout my life, I have been driven by a deep love for creating and working with any medium that involves color. My goal has always been to continue exploring new mediums and techniques, constantly pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
My life’s canvas is a riot of hues—a symphony of mediums. From brush strokes to glass beads, each stroke, each flame, each petal adds to my adventure. And so, I continue with brush and glass in hand, heart ablaze creating, exploring, and celebrating the kaleidoscope of existence.

“Art is life, and life is color.”
