We welcome Yi Zhang for a very timely demonstration. In her own words:
“For this upcoming event, I will be demonstrating a dragon head bead for the Dragon Year. The bead is made with soft glass.
In this demo, I’ll firstly talk a bit about how to construct an animal head with basic 3D-geometric shapes. And then we can go ahead toward the base of this dragon bead.
Then I’ll show you how to use a simple tool to make the details, how to put eye murrines, how to make teeth and horns etc.
At last I’ll mention how to work it asymmetrically and how you can build your own inspirations.”
