1000 Beads? What a challenge!

Are you taking part in the Beads of Courage 1000 Bead Challenge?  I know several of our Dragon members are hard at work to try and make that goal.  At least one of them may already be there!  As for me, I’m plugging along.  Even if some of us don’t make the 1000 beads for 2020, I know that what we do send in will make a difference!

One Dragon member told me that they discovered a treasure trove of old beads while cleaning out and rearranging their studio, and they are gathering those up to send.  What a great idea for those of us with spare beads that are sound and meet the guidelines for donating to the BOC members.  They don’t have to be perfect for the kids and teens in the program to love them. I have heard that some BOC members even want an “ugly bead” to commemorate an ugly moment that they courageously endured.
