Speaker’s Series – Zhang Yi – Principles in Sculpture

Please welcome Yi Zhang who will be sharing a very timely demonstration with the Glass Dragons. For this upcoming event, she will be demonstrating a dragon head bead because 2024 is the year of the dragon. Using soft glass, Yi will demonstrate the construction using basic geometric shapes and show how she uses a simple tool to make the details. She will also mention how to work the piece asymmetrically and how to build our own inspiration.
