Floral Beads and Fine Stringer Work

Hello, I’m Carla Graber. I live on the Oregon coast with my husband and two dogs. I have seven adult children (four of my own, and 3 bonus/step kids), and two adorable grandsons.

I have been making beads for 22 years. I took my first class at Glass Craft and Bead Expo in 2004, and then went on to be a teaching assistant for my first teacher, Catharine Weaver, for several years at that same show.

I have taught private lessons, online workshops, taught at workshops throughout Oregon, and my own classes at Glass Craft and Bead Expo.

My work focuses on small details, color theory, fine stringer work, and is heavily inspired by nature.

I love glass and all of its challenges and possibilities. I love teaching, and have no secrets. I want to share my knowledge and love the moment when one of my students has a breakthrough and learns something new.
