December 2020, What a Year!

In the blink of an eye, we are in December!  What a strange year it has been.  We have definitely had some difficult times, and some good times too!  The kids in the Beads of Courage program face situations that require courage all too often. It is so nice to know that our group has helped them meet those moments bravely – even if it is only in a small way.  (Beads are pretty small after all!)

Some of us have been working on the BOC 1000 Bead Challenge for 2020.  Whether we make it to the 1000 target or not, that is a lot of love and caring, so thank you!

 

Thank you to all of those who have been making any bead donations for the kids, and a warm “welcome!” to any who have not yet been active, but would like to begin donating.  It is very rewarding to mail off a box of beads – knowing that you are really sending little bits of hope, love and courage to the kids. 

Play with us every 1st weekend of the month as the Dragons make beads for these beautiful kids. And remember to share your photos on the Facebook page to inspire the rest of us!  We all enjoy seeing pictures, and it encourages the rest of us to join in too!
