Anealing Bubbles – Small Part Storage – Wire Straightener

We have 3 tips for you this month.

Below is a photo of the neatest tool I have purchased in quite a while. It is a Wire Straightener Tool from Artistic Wire, and it works great. ~ Beverly Seibenhener

Another lampworking “tool” is annealing bubbles. I put mine in a crock pot and have been using them especially when I can only use the torch for short periods of time. That way, they cool down in the annealing bubbles; then I can batch anneal when I have enough pieces.

Here is a website where you can order annealing bubbles.

Eileen Robbins suggests you check thrift stores for small appliances for use in the studio.

Use medicine bottles to store jump rings (or whatever small items you need to store.)

Making adhesive labels with your computer and printer allows you to fill in data about what is inside the bottle.

Kelly Six suggests putting your medicine bottle in the freezer for five minutes to make removing the label easier.
